Q:
How do I make my pores appear smaller?
A:
First, please understand that your pores are not muscles. They do not open and close. Pore minimizing products simply irritate the skin, making it swell slightly, resulting in pores that appear smaller. Later during the day your skin will relax again and the pores will appear larger again.
We
do not believe that long term use of the minimizers
can be good for your skin. It does not make sense to
have your skin expand and contract on a daily basis.
Larger
pores are a result of skin damage becoming visible.
The best way to combat large pores is to exfoliate.
Remove the damage on the surface and the skin will
become smoother. We recommend professional exfoliating
treatments such as microdermabrasion or chemical peels
along with a home care exfoliant with glycolic acid
or our new Guava Glow. |
