Heavenly Haven

My massage with Jurnee was a lovely experience. The whole staff was welcoming and warm when I entered. The massage room was a comfortable temperature & the table was set with soft linens. She used a blend of heated pads & towels with varying hand pressures to prep my muscles for my full body massage. She offered peppermint in the diffuser while I was face down in the cradle to help my sinuses which relaxed me. I was thoroughly pleased with my whole experience & I highly recommend. Thanks Helen!

I had zero knowledge beforehand

But Valorie Ammann taught me extensively about the cons I should be aware of with growing my own hemp plants, federal legalities along with the local laws. She completely brightened my life and even discussed yoga and food topics with me. Her receptionist was extremely cordial and assisted when she needed to.

✨MASSAGE✨

OK, yesterday was different. I had a massage. And I had it done by Tiffany and let me start off by saying it was fantastic, she knew exactly what she was doing and after she was done, I told her that I have had literally thousands of massages in my life but hers was very good! And the only words that I could tell her that I could use was Accurate, she pinpointed every issue. her strength was amazing and consistent, and I told them that I was thinking about having this done more often it was really nice! This morning I woke up, and the body felt perfect! As usual, Helen’s Haven knocked it out of the park, thank you, Tiffany and thank you Helen🌴 for referring me over. It was a great experience as usual. 💖

Lash lift and tint

Bella did an incredible job with my eyelashes. It was actually very relaxing, and my eyelashes turned out so fabulous. I am still amazed the next day that they are my lashes.

I can feel my toes again

AMAZING SERVICE

I met with 2 different clinicians: one for Botox and the other for Quadra Lift. Both clinicians had excellent bedside manners and each explained in detail their recommendations according to my concerns. I went for threading ONLY and left with 2 different services. My skin felt smooth and I walked out glowing. I made another appointment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

It had been quite a while since I had a massage; the last several were in Las Vegas & the atmosphere/aura was very different. I enjoyed the calm presence of Helen's, the feeling that I was in a safe environment. What I enjoyed most about Journey was the absence of nonsense chatter & scents. Journey was very professional, her method effective & calming, she worked the areas I pointed out with no herky-jerky transitions. She was very good, easy to talk to, with a calming manner.

Best facial massage ever!

I had an hour long facial with Jurnee and it was heaven. I needed some extractions since I hadn't been in for a facial in awhile, and she did a great job with those, but the facial massage was the star of the show! Never having any type of cosmetic procedure before I was excited and slightly nervous, but after speaking with Dr Valorie I knew i would be in good hands. Being 68, for my daughters wedding I wanted to appear less tired, dragged down. I chose.some threading, botox, and filler. Amazing Massage

I'm visiting family on the island and asked one of my cousins where she would go around the neighborhood to get a massage. She recommended Helen's, and I'm so grateful she did! The client service was top notch from the moment I called, and despite being short staffed (a perennial problem due to Covid) the spa was able to accommodate me within 2 days. My therapist was extremely diligent and provided an all around great service. She had me feeling so much better after I left. 5 stars all the way, and I'd recommend the spa to anyone considering a service!

Amazing lashes by Ronnie

Ronnie technique is exceptional and the lashes last for more than 3 to 4 weeks. I personally like to get re-touches every two weeks. She is an expert and talented in her field! Her personality makes you feel comfortable. She takes the time to get to know her clients including any eye allergies. Dr. Val Is pure perfection! Kahala’s Hidden Gem

I received the best facial with an added massage from Tiffany at Helen’s Haven. I was very impressed by Tiffany’s technique, the spa’s products, and overall relaxation setting of the room, music, & bed. They accommodated me perfectly being that I’m 7 months pregnant and experiencing a bit of discomfort. I asked many questions about other services and every spa member I spoke with was very knowledgeable in what they provide and the technicians available. If you are thinking of gift cards for the holidays, I recommend you check out the deal they are offering for a limited time (that expires 5yrs from the date issued!) I definitely bought a few and will be back ASAP and also gifting them to others. And…parking was easy, free, & many open stalls. Trustworthy, professional, and excellent

I saw Dr. Val, who gave me great advice and also gave me some Botox injections. We talked about what is “too much” vs the amount that might help make the inevitable aging process appear a little bit kinder. I think that she is a great doctor and I love the friendly atmosphere that pervades this gem of a salon.

Prenatal Massage with Linda

I was so impressed by Linda's wealth of knowledge and the information she shared with me about her credentials and licensing journey. She found all of my knots and gave me recommendations on how to continue to fix them. She helped even out my hips and my back but was able to do it gently as i'm well into my 3rd trimester. My favorite part was the scalp massage! Thank you Linda I will be back!

Run, Don’t Walk to enjoy an excellent & relaxing facial!

My facial yesterday at Helen’s Haven was one of the most relaxing and beneficial afternoons I have experienced in nearly 2 years. It was a pleasure to catch up with my friend Helen and appreciate how professionally and kindly she runs her business. I purchased several SkinTech products she recommended, including the Travel/Trial kit, and planned to call her for reminders on how to use everything. But - no need! Helen’s videos on her website describe the products and she even provides a pdf instruction sheet on the variety of lotions and serums. Hope to return soon!

Amazing Experience

Yesterday was my first body massage at Helen’s Haven. Linda did a wonderful job of loosening my tight shoulder and neck muscles. She also worked on my toes which were slightly numb from chemotherapy treatments. Linda also worked on my left wrist and arm which was slightly swollen due to lymphedema which was also the result of my mastectomy. I came out feeling lighter and relaxed. Numbness in my toes and the swelling on my wrist were less noticeable. I will surely return for future massages! Thank you Linda! Alice M.

The massage worked!!

Heaven On Earth

The Greatest Facial Experience + Skin Education all in one session

I had a facial done with Karlyn and it was definitely relaxing and I left feeling 110 %. Karlyn not only is the sweetest, friendliest person you will ever meet – but she is very knowledgeable about skin science/ the anatomy (very impressive), what to do for skin, what not to do to your skin and what I could use to help better my skin care game moving forward. Micro needling facial

I loved it! Helen was amazing! I don’t normally get facials but this was awesome. I had a lot of questions about what would be the best procedure for me. I originally was going to get one of their hydrating facials and decided I wanted more of a treatment so we settled on micro needling with no down time. We did a cleansing, steaming, numbing cream for the micro needing, extraction, and after the procedure an awesome face mask. I loved it so much!

Massage and stretching

Linda was excellent! Technique had the right pressure and the stretching she did at the end really relieved some of my lower back pain. Only feedback points I have is the office type ceiling, when you’re on your back facing up staring at it, just reminds me of being at work (not relaxing) but you can just close your eyes. Light color sensory can be considered to help the calming affect. The tape around the windows should be removed or covered. There’s details that can be looked at. Just lie on your back and stomach on the table to see what your clients see. Bottom line though, I would definitely come back for Linda!

Consistently Wonderful Service

I have been going to HH for about 12 years for a variety of services and all of it has been wonderful. The staff are wonderful, professional, and personable. Establishment is clean and well kept. I never got a sense that they were trying to push an agenda but respected my decision about what services I wanted. With the addition to COVID-19, they have followed the rules of cleanliness and social distancing. I always feel that they care about the clients.

Yesterday i went in for monthly facial/back facial, and to my surprise-Helen scheduler's me with a season with a girl to finish me up with a massage! She used a device that went from ice cold to warm in seconds! It was fabulous! She also gave me a FIRST CLASS MASSAGE! This new service is FIVE STAR let me tell you! Best Service And Prices

Helen is always providing the best service and the newest treatments for her clients. The spa is clean, comfortable and relaxing. Helen has an adjustable bed/table that is perfect for people like me who have back problems. Most providers have really hard tables that are back killers. Helen is very knowledgeable and has her own skincare line. You can expect real facials here that will give you real results. Other spas nickel and dime you for things that should already be included in your facial. Nothing is more disappointing than paying for a service and not seeing any results. Don’t go anywhere else! You cannot beat her service and her prices.

I've been going to Helen for years. I hadn't been since October of last year because life got busy and then the pandemic. I was happy to return for a little pampering, and felt completely safe with all of the procedures they have put into place. Always a great experience.

My First Botox/Fillers

I have to admit, I went in blind not knowing what to expect. I honestly thought I was going in for a consultation, but I am so glad I got my very first filler and Botox. Dr. Valerie is just amazing. She made me feel so comfortable by explaing everything in detail. I was quite scared, but she was so very gentle. This will not be my last time I do this! Amazing!

I had facials and massages before at Helen’s and have enjoyed all of them. I decided to try something different this time. I tried the micro needling facial. Helen did one area first and then showed me the difference in the mirror. I was surprised and very pleased with the results I saw. My whole face had such a nice glow afterwards. The massage was one of the best i have had in a while. Unfortunately i cannot say the same for the facial. They appeared to rely more on the electronic scrubber than actually using their hands to massage the face effectively. In addition the neck and décolleté was not cleansed or moisturized which typically is included as part of facial.

This is the best facial spa I’ve ever been to here in Hawaii. I’ve tried a lot of different places, either they only have facial, microderm but they don’t have the microneedling or other new technology treatments. But this place has it all. Different treatments to cater to your needs. I always felt relaxed and refreshed during and after the treatments that most of the time I fell asleep. I love this place. Although it is a little bit expensive, the results you’ll get after are just awesome ??. The people here are just great. & lots of parking space ?

I started seeing Helen back in 2004 for a skin issue no one else could solve. I've since moved to the mainland, but I still see Helen whenever I can when I visit family. Happy Client!

I first visited Helen's Haven about 2 weeks ago, but wanted to wait a bit to see the results of my Quick Fix Facial and Micro-Needling treatment. Well... I think I've got a new addiction! Today I went back for my second facial and in about a week I'll have my next Micro-needling session. I'm already ecstatic with the results and can't wait to explore other services. My friend and I agree that we wish we had found Helen and her staff sooner. Everyone's so friendly and accommodating, and the location is very conveniently located in Kahala with free parking. Sometimes Helen brings her dog in, which is always a plus for me! ?❤️

50th Birthday Treat

I found Helen's Haven on Yelp and emailed late Saturday night for an appointment. They got back to me the very next day. I was treating myself to a massage for my 50th birthday. I have a bad neck and back thanks to some car accidents and am always anxious about trying a new massage therapist. My massage therapist at Helen's Haven was Tina Tsuda and she was fantastic. She new right away without my having to tell her that I wanted to be silent and enjoy my massage. She was PHENOMENAL with my neck, shoulders and back. I am already planning to return to see her again next month.

Love the fillers

Instant satisfaction! I have developed some nagging “lines/stripes” on one side of my face. Makeup or foundation seem to make them look more pronounced. But Dr Val was able to “erase” then by the time I left her office - and they look even better today! I feel so confident today, thank you Dr. Val❤️

Amazing lashes by Ronnie

Ever since my first visit being lashed by Ronnie, I have enjoyed each experience every 3 weeks. She enjoys trying new styles of lashes and not afraid to share what she learned with me. She is constantly trying to bring new lashes and learn new techniques. It’s ever so slight but she will continue to only do styles that are healthy for my lashes as well as please my taste. I highly recommend her because of her personality, attitude, skill and concern for the health and beauty of her client.

Best Facials in Honolulu

I've had facials everywhere in Honolulu. I used to go to Helen's Haven but then I had to change because of my work and my child's school schedule. But things have finally changed so I can go back to Helen's Haven. Went there yesterday for a facial with Helen and was instantly reminded of how great she is. Everyone who works here has been here for years, and that says volumes about Helen and her business culture. I would highly recommend this place for facials and massages.

Lunchtime mini facial!

Helen and her team are outstanding! With all the Halloween parties with great food and yummy candy, my face started to break out. I had two events coming up and needed my face looking smooth and shiny so I had just enough time to get a mini facial during my lunch hour. They are miracle workers! Microneedle facial

Today was my first experience with the microneedle facial , and the experience was wonderful! it felt unbelievable and my skin felt like I was touching someone else’s face! it was so soft, tight, cool and it felt like a babies face! When I got home I could see it definite difference in my skin after a nap let me tell you I woke up feeling so brand new looking fabulous ! Loyal Customer going on 12 years!!

I have been a happy customer of Helen's since 2006. Every time I make an appointment its because I NEED 60-90 mins of relaxing massage time due to life stress, or a good facial to feel refreshed and young again. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly people who make sure I have everything I need especially cold water to drink. Its the details that matter to me. Like the peppermint aroma that I breathe in during my massages. The fabulous products that are used on my face. The meditating music being played during my sessions. The soothing colors used to decorate each treatment room. All of these things are so appreciated by me. Its these details that I tell my friends and clients about, which is why I send every client to Helen's Haven for various services. One of my clients recently told me it was the best massage he ever had! Thank you Helen for taking such good care of me for almost 12 years. The best my face has ever been!

Like everyone else who is suffering from acne, pimples and scars, I went to visit Helen's Haven hoping for a change and I loved it! Thanks to their love with skincare and their products (Lerosette, celluma, exfoliants), my face has been better and my confidence was back on (before I was so conscious with my pimples BUT NOT ANYMORE!). Great customer service!

I was on Oahu from Kauai for medical reasons and I had made an appointment here (to treat myself!) I ended up having to take an earlier flight home and stopped by to see if they could possibly take me any earlier. They were able to accommodate me and were so gracious and kind about it. Great, positive atmosphere (not at all "hoity-toity") and very knowledgeable and well trained staff. I did the micro-needling and noticed a difference within a day. I'll be back for more. Helen even gave me some follow-up cream to take home in case I needed it, since I was going off island. I can't praise this place highly enough!

A Slice of Heaven

I was treated to Helen's Haven Signature Facial and Body Massage Combo. It was absolutely heavenly!! I started with Carlyn giving me the signature facial. I haven't had a facial for at least 2 years. I have to say it is one of the best facials I've had in a long time. Carlyn explained everything I was getting as she did it. She is very pleasant, welcoming and professional. I especially liked how she did the extractions. She did it in such a gentle way and no swelling or recurring pimples. My skin glowed after her treatment. My body massage with Linda was just as exceptional. She is so knowledgeable in massage therapy. Her massage was the icing on the cake. She worked extra hard on my neck and shoulders. She used warm stones to further relax my neck and shoulders, bliss! I could have easily fallen asleep it was that relaxing. Thank you Carlyn and Linda for making my first visit a memorable one. Looking forward to visiting again!!

Waterless pedicure - who knew it could be so wonderful?! Lauren did a great job, smoothing and soothing my feet! With the final touch of a great color, it was an experience I intent to do again and again! Wonderful experience

My facial by Helen herself, was a terrific experience. It was my first facial even though I am, ahem, of advanced years. It was a relaxing 75 minutes, with arm and shoulder massages. My face was soft and smooth afterward, and there were hardly any signs I'd had extractions.

I always have a pleasant experience at HH . Helen, Dr. Valerie, and Christie are always so helpful and honest, plus they do a great job! It's so awesome to have high quality professionals in Kahala, and not have to go into town.

Awesome service

The workers are very nice and the rooms are very relaxing. I love how I got my facial extraction because its bearable. I will come back again and refer to friends.

Always so accommodating...

Helen's Haven is the best. They are always so accommodating for my schedule and always do their best to find me an appointment that works for my busy schedule. They were also very understanding when I was running late for my appointment one time. Thank You Helen's Haven!

Professionalism at it's best!

Dr. Valerie Ammaan is not only very professional at what she does but she also has a knack of making you feel like family! I wouldn't trust anyone but her to make me beautiful!

The whole experience at Helen's Haven from scheduling an appointment to payment is very customer friendly. The staff is amazing, and the facility is clean.
