Dermaplaning July 2026

At Helen’s Haven, dermaplaning is one of those services clients love because it leaves the skin feeling soft, polished, and beautifully renewed. Dermaplaning is a professional exfoliation treatment that gently removes dead skin cells and fine facial hair, often referred to as peach fuzz. The result is skin that looks smoother, brighter, and more refined.

Korean Brightening Facial

Maximize topical hydration and enhance your skin’s natural moisture barrier with this thirst quenching treatment gel that contains water-based nourishment that attracts and binds moisture to the skin. This contains "Instant Lift" to provide a tightening effect to the epidermis and humectants to provide moisture to the inner layers of the skin, the dermal layers. Client use: Apply a thin layer and leave on at night or day. Use after serums and before creams.

Qwo Cellulite Reduction Treatment

Helen's Haven Integrative Medical Spa is introducing QWO, a new injectable cellulite treatment. It consists of an enzyme that breaks down the collagen tether leaving the skin smoother. The tethers tighten over time, which creates the cottage cheese look that many of us are too familiar with. We've tried various machines that promise cellulite reduction but this is the first that we've seen amazing results.

Elite Microneedle

Microneedling creates micro-injuries which trigger the growth of fibroblasts cells that stimulate the production of collagen resulting in plumper and smoother looking skin. When an injury occurs, your skin will destroy the old damaged tissue that causes acne scarring and wrinkles. Then it will replace it with freshly produced collagen. This treatment is best for all the skin types and tones, especially for the people who are facing a problem like acne scarring, wrinkling, fine lines and dilated pores. Our Elite Microneedling with MDerma takes our regular microneedling to the next level. MDerma is the newest microneedling equipment by Derma Pen. The needles sit differently within the pen allowing the needles to penetrate at a deeper level. You should expect to be slightly red to red, like a sunburn after the treatment. You will most likely be red and swollen for the next couple days. Each treatment includes a take home Recovery Skin Care Set to use over the next week.

LED Red Light

Red LED at certain wavelengths is absorbed into the mitochondria of the cell responsible for regeneration. The energy stimulates the fibrocyte, the cell responsible for production of collagen and elastin, to become active. The result is a healthier, firmer skin. This is a quick treatment. You're under the light for 5 min. We request that you wear little to no make-up as service time alloted is 15 min. We recommend twice weekly treatment for a month and then monthly maintenance.

LED Green Light

Green light at 520 nm bonds with melanosomes and bacteria, this will help with acne and hyper-pigmentation. Green LED helps scatter the hyperpigmentation on the surface of the skin. It also helps control oil production and the bacteria that causes cystic acne. The LED treatments on their own are only 15 min. appointments. You’re under the light for 5 min. Please arrive with little to no make-up on. We recommend twice weekly treatment for a month and then monthly maintenance.

Hot/Cold Contrast Therapy

Cannabidiol (CBD) is an active ingredient in cannabis derived from the hemp plant. The hemp plant is a cousin of the marijuana plant. They are not related and there is not THC in our CBD. Topical CBD products can help address pain or inflammation that's at a specific area of your body, such as on the joints or muscles. The product won't enter the bloodstream. So a topical CBD product isn't designed to address systemic problem, but is good for a specific problem area. Contrast therapy combines heat and cooling for specific time frames. It reduces inflammation, increases range of motion, decreases muscle soreness, and aids in recovery from exercise. Alternating hot and cold helps muscles relax.

PDO Thread Lifting

Polydioxanone (PDO) threads are a special medical grade thread that is thinner than hair, made of protein. Research has confirmed that PDO relaxes tendons and muscles, while improving the blood flow to the area stimulating neocollagenesis (the production of new collagen in the skin). The threads will dissolve over a few months leaving behind new collagen and a visible tightening and lifting effect. There are two types of threads: smooth and barbed. Smooth increases volume and barbed threads have more a lifting effect.

Foundational Facial

Our facials specialize cleansing and extractions. Each facial takes about 75 min. So, this is just a quick example. We do add on massage for relaxation also. These are great for rejuvenation, prejuvenation and monthly maintenance.

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a method of exfoliation. It entails using a blade to scrape away dead skin and vellus (peach fuzz) hair. It's a deeper exfoliation than a traditional microdermabrasion. We have taken classes and are certified in Dermaplaning to insure safety. This Is a service we do frequently to assist with prejuvenation and rejuvenation of the skin.

Quadra-Lift Plus

View our newest prejuvenation and rejuvenation skin tightening treatment. HIFU (high intensity focused ultrasound) creates thermal injury in the skin. The surface of the skin is not disturbed. This is followed by RF (radio frequency). RF also creates thermal injury. The third process in this treatment if microcurrent. Microcurrent is a small electrical current that works on the muscle structure of the face. It tightens the muscles. It also increases the ATP, or energy, of the cells. This will help the skin heal from the thermal injury quickly. There is no downtime or pain.

Acne Microneedling w/ CBD

This our Helen's Haven Integrative Medical Spa's acne treatment. This includes cleansing, steaming, extractions, just like all of our facials. With the acne treatment we emphasize the extractions to clean your skin of breakouts. What this video does not show is that after the high frequency we use an ice treatment to cool down the skin before we use the blue and red LED. We have three different strengths of microneedle. This video shows our medium strength. We can adjust the strength according to the client's skin.

Microneedle and Radio Frequency

Helen’s Haven Integrative Medical Spa offers microneedle in different forms. This is a newer form that includes radio frequency. The result is tighter, firmer skin. It will also helps smooth the texture and scarring.
