Plated Skin Science
(Plated) Skin Science is a regenerative skincare line that uses "cell-signaling" technology rather than just traditional ingredients like vitamins or acids. It uses exosomes, essentially messengers that send signals to you skin cells directing them to repair themselves.
What makes (Plated) different is that the exosomes are derived from human platelets. When you donate blood, the platelets are separated. Platelets are fragile and are viable for 5 days. After 5 days they are discarded. The (Plated) company partners with FDA compliant blood banks to “rescue” the platelets before being discarded. (Plated) is the first brand to successfully pull these exosomes from platelets, purify them, and put them in a shelf-stable bottle.
(Plated) is about repairing the skin. You will still want to use SkinCeuticals products for cleansing, exfoliation, hydration etc. Plated and SkinCeuticals work well together. Because Plated is designed to calm the skin and reduce redness, it often makes the more "aggressive" SkinCeuticals actives (like Vitamin C and Retinol) much easier to tolerate.
